The Splendid Sampler: Block 38 and a break......

Here is the latest block I have completed for The Splendid Sampler. It is block 38 which was designed by Pam Vieira McGinnis and it is called 'Vintage Flower Basket'. I loved stitching this block.  I just love the combination of applique and embroidery.

Things are really starting to get busy here with organising my house move, so I will be taking a little break from blogging and will meet up with you when the move is complete and I am all settled in my new home.

In the meantime, I will post photographs of any bits and pieces I manage to stitch on my Patchwork Allsorts facebook page.  Click on the photo above to visit me there.

  16. I wish you all the best for the next time - moving is for me a lot of work, a lot of decisions, more or less hard going away and a big joy at the new home.
Now, I am waiting of the time, when you are stitching
and creating your wonderful patchwork again, then I know, that you arrived well at your new home.

  17. Happy moving: ) Glad to hear you have found a new home to enjoy. I love your stripes on your vase. Another beautiful block. I'm going to live through your blocks for the Splendid Sampler as I have concluded the chances of me starting and finishing this quilt are getting slimmer by the day. Just can't seem to make it happen. Janita
