I didn't have any yellow fabrics that I wanted to use, so I used some green instead and I'm calling mine a lime!
The next block is block 35 and was designed by Kristyne Czepuryk it is called 'The Wishful Garden'.
It is a pretty block which features some simple piecing and some lovely embroidery stitches. It was like stitching one of my crazy quilt blocks and I really enjoyed it!
Luckily I have finished just in time again for the release of the next block!
Lovely stitching therapy. Did you happen to see the lemon block made into a turtle... very creative I thought. I have not done much with curved piecing so could use some practice on that. Spending lots of one on one time with my weeds this week....... while dreaming of sewing. Though not officially a sewing project but working with fabric : ) I did manage to finish a LONG overdue chair project. Thumbs up for me!!! Hope your day is peace filled as you look for a new home..... remember to breathe. Janita
ReplyDeleteThank you Janita! I must have missed the turtle... will have to have a look for it! Glad you are at least working on some projects with fabric! I will take the house move one step at a time.... I have moved many times so have experienced most eventual outcomes! Hopefully this will be smooth! Thanks for the support! Christine x

DeleteLiebe Christine,
ReplyDeletedie Rundung hast Du gut gemeistert. Sieht schön aus. Ganz besonders schön sind wieder Deine Stickereien.
Das gefällt mir sehr.

DeleteYour lime looks pretty good! I struggled with those curves, too (I'm a little behind in the blogging part, though). Your stitches in block n. 35 are lovely! I'm thinking of stitching first the embroidery and then piece the block together... but first I must finish block n.31! Have a nice week, Ariadna.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ariadna! I am sure your blocks will look lovely... I always like seeing them! Have a great weekend! Christine x
