Finished Projects 2013
NB. as well as the items I have listed below this year I have also undertaken two block of the month quilts which I have given details of under separate page headings.

GOSC 2013
Le Jardin Quilt (BOM for the Girls Own Stitching Club designed by Bronwyn Hayes of Red Brolly)

Mrs Beasley's Sampler Quilt
A four part quilt from Vignette magazine designed and published by Leanne Beasley of Leanne's House

January
I started the year by making crocheted owls after I saw a tutorial for them on one of the blogs I read Hopscotch Lane they are really quick and easy to make and I loved making them.

Next I completed a Journal Cover as a gift for a friend.  I hand embroidered the cupcake, which was a design from the book 'Stitch with Love' by Mandy Shaw and then appliquéd it onto some fabric. I then adapted a Recipe  from Moda Bake Shop to complete the construction of the cover.

February
I completed a quilt for my youngest daughter.  I used Tilda fabrics and a pattern from the book 'Happy Hour' by Terry Atkinson.

March
I made two tea cosies.  The 'Hare' pattern was from the book 'Crafting Springtime Gifts' by Tone Finnanger.

The other was my own design.  I used fabrics from my collection.

Then I made a number of mug rugs of various designs of my own.  I was inspired by the cute mug rugs that I had seen in various different places whilst browsing on the internet.

I also completed a quilt for my eldest daughter.  I used Tilda fabrics and a pattern from the book 'Piece of Pie' by Pie Plate Patterns.

April
In April I completed a project whilst following an online quilting class with Craftsy.  The class is called 'Big Techniques from Small Scraps' and is taught by Sarah Fielke.

May
This month I completed a baby quilt of my own design as a gift for a friend.

I also completed a quilt from the book '3 Times the Charm' by Me and My Sister.  The quilt is called 'Bertha' and the fabric I used was 'Vintage Modern' by Bonnie and Camille.

June
In June I completed a quilt from the book '3 Times the Charm Two' by Me and My Sister.  The quilt is called 'Ingrid' and the fabric I used was 'Sunkisssed' by Sweetwater.

July
The month of July saw me complete three small framed embroideries.

I also completed a set of six placemats for my table.

August
This month I completed lots of small embroideries ready to be made into mini wall quilts.

I made a handbag mirror cover with an embroidered/appliquéd butterfly on the front

I also completed a second handbag mirror cover using an African Flower crochet pattern which I found in a tutorial at Cherry Heart.

September
In September I finished two more small embroidery designs of a pig and a kokeshi doll.  I then made them and all the embroideries that I made in August into mini wall hangings or mug rugs.
