Since the last post.....
Since my last post there has been a lot happening. Firstly, I did manage to add a few more stitches to my latest embroidery project which I showed you last time and, is a beautiful template called 'Trio of Alliums' designed by Anne Brooke of H-anne-Made.
The last of our boxes will arrive later on this coming week but I have managed to get my new sewing room quite well organised and I even managed to sew a couple of little tote bags for my two granddaughters who now only live half an hour away.
It has been so lovely to be able to see them and the tote bags were a big success with them! They were made using a pattern by Vicki Elle.

You've been busy! Good that you found some time to sew something for the 'grandies' - some sanity time for you amidst the moving chaos I'm sure. Lucky you to have the little ones so close now.
ReplyDeleteSo busy but great to be able to find some time to do sewing too.
ReplyDeleteWow , moving is never fun, so much work . Glad you have already started to settle in and managed to do some stitching , the little, bags are adorable . Nice to be close to your grandchildren for sure.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sheila. It is certainly a nice reward after the work of moving to be able to see the grandchildren regularly! Hope you are on the mend. Christine xx
DeleteYour new sewing space is looking pretty cute! How wonderful to be so much closer to your grandchildren! I'm sure that makes the pain of moving well worth it. Darling totes--happy stitching!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous tote bags and great to be nearer the family. The embroidery Trio of Alliums is very pretty and so neatly done.
ReplyDeleteThose totes will be loved and well used for sure. Love your embroidery. I tried visiting her website to order something but found it hard to navigate. I shall try again. You have been settling in to your new home quite quickly and it is good that your sewing room is done. Lol, was it the first room you did??? Enjoy your new home and I hope you share many treasured times with your family.
