It has been another busy couple of weeks since I last posted. We are to move house again(!) shortly and, I have been trying to get a few things sorted out ready for the move. Luckily, we are only moving locally and as we already have the keys to the new house, I have been able to slowly start moving a few things across. I was also away for a few days this past week visiting family, which was nice.
In between times I have been adding a few more rows of stitching to my Kantha project.
This is a SAL organised by Alison Glass and it has been a lot of fun to join in with. I am hoping to get some more rows added over the coming days. It is a 'slow stitch' project so there is no rush and I am enjoying the pace of it.
I have also been working on getting my 'secret project' finished and I have managed to get started on binding it.
I am hoping to have that finished this week.
We are enjoying some beautiful weather here this week and I hope you are too!
Until next time..... 😊 xx
Oh goodness - moving! At least you can move things slowly which makes it a whole lot easier. When we moved to the apartment we had a month to move and we brought a few things over each day and that way we could test fit to see what was doable and anything that didn't fit went to auction.
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you, moving again. It must be nice to have some slow stitching to do during those very busy times.
ReplyDeleteMoving ranks pretty low on my list of things to look forward to. Glad you can slow stitch while you slow move! XO, kaholly
ReplyDeleteMine too Karen, I have moved 22 times in the last 30 years. Here's hoping this is the last time! xx
DeleteI hope your move went well. Such a stressful time. Your quilting and stitching projects are looking lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour project is gorgeous. Hope the move went well (I'm a bit behind with my blog reading). xx
