Photograph of Gail Pan's pincushion from the book! |
My choice of fabrics for the project. |
You will recall that I decided to stitch this cute little 'bloom' pincushion for my first project and these were the fabrics, threads and trim that I had picked out to make it.
My finished pincushion. |
Now those fabrics, threads and trim have been transformed and, my new pincushion looks right at home with the other pincushions I have in my sewing room!!
Pincushions! |
I have chosen the needle book that is pictured on the front of Gail Pan's wonderful book as my next project.

These are the fabrics that I am considering for use when I make up the needle book (but the choice may change!)
Possible fabrics for making the needle book. |
My background fabric has already had the embroidery designed traced onto it, the threads have been picked out ready and, I can't wait to get started on the second Sew-a-long project!!

Have a wonderful week and enjoy looking at the projects so far!
