Farm Girl Friday!

Hello! I am really pleased to be able to share with you all of my Farm Girl Vintage blocks. Yes,  I am all caught up and completely up to date!! Yay!! Today is week five of the Farm Girl Friday SAL and, as well as the blocks from the previous four weeks, I have finished the blocks for this week too.  I do have to say that once I got started on the blocks they did become a bit addictive and I couldn't stop!!  So here they all are......

Week one: Apron Strings Block

Week two: Autumn Star Block

Week two: Baby Chick Block

Week three: Baking Day Block

Week three: Butter Churn Block

Week four: Canning Season Block

Week four: Chicken Foot Block

Week five: Churn Dash Block

Week five: Cool Threads Block

Hope you like them!  Don't look too closely at some of the points because they are far from perfect but, they have been great fun to sew!  It is also fun to visit Lori's blog to see what 'extra' ideas and tips she has. Have a lovely weekend!

  5. I'm trying to catch up, really I am. :) I think your points look awesome! Love your fabric choices. Are you making the 6 inch? I was making 12 inch blocks and decided to try the 6 inch for the last one I made, and I like the 6 inch size best.
    Lol on the "Yeehaws"

    1. Thank you Linda! These are all 12 inch blocks. They will make a very big quilt if I put them altogether in the sampler quilt so I think I will make several quilts/runners with them. I think that the 6 inch size is best for the sampler but some of the pieces will be very small! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Yeehaw!! :) x

    1. That's a relief Mary Anne! I saw something recently where the first rule was don't point out your mistakes.... but it is hard when you know they are there!! :) x

  7. I am really enjoying watching these blocks come together. Today, I finally realized another blog I follow is doing the same SAL. It is fun to see the blocks come together in different fabrics. I must admit, I couldn't see points that did not match up. (If it were me sewing these, they would not match and it would be glaringly obvious - so I am quite impressed with your work!)
