It is called Seaside Town. I so enjoyed participating in one of Lynette's previous button club projects called Fernhill that I knew I would love this project too. Fernhill was some years ago now (2012) and I love my finished version of the quilt. I have been tempted with some of the button club projects between then and now but, I didn't think I would have the time so didn't succumb!!

However, I just couldn't resist a seaside inspired quilt.... I love the seaside! So far I have received the instructions for month one and month two.
I have finished the little pieced blocks for month one (these are to be used later on) and, I have nearly completed the embroidered block.... just a few more French knots to go!
For month two there were some cute little houses to paper piece. I have finished all the piecing. We had to make four in total.
The two above will be used at a later date but the two below have been pieced together to make one block ready for the addition of some embroidered details. I have transferred all the embroidery patterns over to the block but just need to find time to do the stitching now!!
I can already tell this is going to be such a pretty quilt and I am really looking forward to finishing the month one block embroidery as well as adding the embroidery to the block for month two.
Wie schön! Ich mag die Lynette Anderson Projekte sehr und dieses gehört zu meinen Lieblingen.ReplyDelete
It looks like it is going to be another lovely project! xxReplyDelete

Glad to read your blog again. You have a whole lot of pretty projects in the works!. I like your blocks and that pretty tree.ReplyDelete
With little houses it is sure to satisfy. : ) The embroidery part of it looks very cute also. In the sea of creative endeavors it is hard to let some pass on by. So many cute things out there to make. JanitaReplyDelete
You have been indeed busy! I knew about this club, and between all the projects I already have, and that even though I would enjoy stitching it, it's not my style, I decided not to join. However, I do find Lynette Anderson's designs extremely pretty, and the temptation was big... yours is going to be absolutely beautiful! I read your interview on the TAST website, congratulations! Your embroidery is indeed incredible. Have a nice week! Ariadna.ReplyDelete
Oh, lovely...I am so pleased you are doing this - it will be fun watching you complete this bit by bit.ReplyDelete
Love your new seaside project - especially the colors in those blocks. How do you store your ongoing projects?ReplyDelete

So far, the new project looks pretty cute--I know you will have fun with this one!!ReplyDelete
Just the name 'Seaside Town' sounds so lovely. Spending time at the seaside it something we'd all like to do but the next best thing is to make your own!ReplyDelete
Looking forward to seeing the new venture ... you can almost smell the brine from the sea in the title alone lolReplyDelete
