September Snow Happy Heart Block

Where did August go? I feel like I blinked and August was gone! However, the first week of a new month means the release of another great Snow Happy Heart Pattern from the lovely Anne Sutton over at Bunny Hill Designs

This month's pattern is so cute.  The dear little snowman is all dressed up ready to start the school term.

To add to the school theme, this month I added the word 'School' to the applique background as well as the month's name.

I also included the numbers '1 2 3' and the letters 'A B C' again following the school theme and I just couldn't resist the addition of this cute little 'wise' owl button!

I hope you like it! If you want to follow along with the quilt that I am making from these delightful free patterns, please do visit my 'Snow Happy Hearts Quilt' page for more details.

I am linking this post to the stitchery party at 'Super Mom - No Cape' so do pop over and have a look at all the other links!

  4. I always feel that I blink and summer is over - it simply never lasts long enough to suit me. Right now we're having a bit of a heat wave and today it was 33C, not counting the humidity level. Too warm, even for me. It's nice to come here and see a sweet little snowman!

  16. I just love these little snowmen, and your embellishments make them so special. The tiny ABC on that little book are just as readable as the rest of the letters! Love that red background fabric.
